MIT Professional Education again offers its professional short course: “ Crisis Management and Business Continuity.” Join us at the MIT campus in Cambridge, MA on July 15 - 19, 2013. The program will provide up-to-date assessments and knowledge on issues that affect companies and government agencies - terrorism, pandemic, cyber security, communications, news media - from the authorities involved with these efforts. The course also features BC Management’s own Cheyene Marling! In addition this year, we will be offering discussions on the following recent events and their impact: · Boston Marathon bombings: panel session with key responding agencies · Hurricane Sandy: panel session of successful business responses · Newtown School shootings: Lt. Paul Vance, Connecticut State Police · Recent CERT congressional briefing; the latest cyber threats and initiatives We also have a BCP lawyer and standards expert; experienced BCP program managers; DR status and trends expert; pandemic expert; federal, state, and local government emergency response officials; as well as television, newspaper, and radio news editors.
