An Excerpt from the USA BCM Compensation Report Initial Data Findings ****************************************************************************** Final data findings will be published and distributed for USA and other regions (i.e. Canada, Europe, and Asia Pacific) after the survey closes on Dec 15, 2012. Latin America, Middle East and Africa data findings will be published depending upon study participation. "The findings from BC Management’s 11th Annual BCM study highlight several indicators that the economic environment continues to improve and is almost to the levels of pre-recession years. One, there are fewer respondents who note a total compensation decrease (11.90% in 2012 compared to 34.89% in 2011). Secondly, those who changed jobs willingly note an average total compensation percent increase of 6.26%. Thirdly, the data findings indicate that total compensations are on the rise based on job title, certification, degree, years of experience, management experience and leadership experience. These data findings are highlighted throughout the report. The 2012 study findings also report the highest average total compensation in our eleven years of collecting data, which was $122,173 for full-time employees (FTE)."
