(Albany, NY) – The Association of Continuity Professionals (ACP) has begun accepting nominations for positions on its 2018 National Board of Directors. There are four positions open, each with a term of three years.
“I am the ACP” – Since its inception, ACP’s mission has been to develop and advance continuity professionals to be accomplished in their career. The primary vehicle to achieve this mission is the local ACP Chapter. The role of ACP National is to support the local chapters to thrive. The ACP National Board has strategic oversight responsibility for setting direction, establishing collaborative resources, and in general answering to the Chapter Leadership teams, “how can we help you to achieve our mission?”
“ACP plays an important role as the National voice of our profession,” said Bill Jancouskas, a retiring Board member and Chair of the Nominations Committee. “It’s a great opportunity to give back to the industry by lending your leadership skills, knowledge and experience,” he added.
The slate of candidates will be announced in September. The voting by the ACP membership will be in October.
