Activities and resources for Tuesday 22nd March include:
TODAY’S FEATURED RESOURCE
“Engaging and Sustaining the Interest of the Board in BCM”. Key findings from a BCI survey carried out at the end of 2010 which attracted 600+ responses giving great insights into this perennially difficult challenge.
NB a webcast looking at the key findings of this research will also be broadcast on Tuesday.
A wide range of resources are available to download from the BCAW website at www.bcaw2011.com
BC24 – AN ONLINE INTERACTIVE GAME
Based on a flooding incident as well as a supply chain failure, this game allows 6 players to take the following key roles:
BCM Manager; PR Manager; HR Director; IT Director; Procurement Manager; and Senior Director.
The players will react to news and events as they occur, making the best decisions they can based on the facts available.
At the time of writing the leading team, DEEWR SEC1 is closely followed by newcomers DHL/UK/Paul Cushion with The Office in third place – although these results will inevitably have changed by the time you read this bulletin.
Approaching 300 teams have registered and are playing by Monday lunchtime and we expect this number to grow over the next few days.
Don’t forget to use an alias or opt out of the leader board if you don’t wish to put your team in the public arena.
Test your Incident Management skills by going to BC24 - the game
BC24 is sponsored by PwC, ClearView and Bureau Veritas.
