Position: BCM Technical Writer
Status: Contract/ Temporary

Duration: Estimated for 4 months on a full-time dedicated basis
Location: Providence, RI – Candidates must be local
Salary: $60-$70/ Hr
* Candidates must have authorization in place to work in the USA.
* Offer will be contingent on passing a background check.
* Candidates must have dedicated technical writing expertise.
A consulting firm (and partner of BC Management’s) is seeking a short-term contract consultant for a client in Providence, RI. The Technical Writer will work as part of a team, under the direction of the Lead Technical Writer. Travel requirements will be minimal.
The Technical Writer will create, write, and revise technical documents, specifically Standard Operating Procedures that support Client program and operations. The Technical Writer will gather and research procedural, functional and technical information and interview subject matter experts, business analysts, system analysts, application program managers, and others to determine what user documentation is needed to support the users’ ability to provide quality service meeting client, regulatory, compliance and audit requirements.
The ideal candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and a minimum of two years of experience creating and maintaining standard operating procedures, manuals, presentation and training materials, or similar documentation.
Contractor will be well versed in MS Office and other word processing software required for technical writing.
It is estimated that this engagement will last around 4 months and would be full time for that time period.
