Position: Business Continuity Technical Writer - CONTRACT
Estimated start date is the beginning of April, possibly sooner
Estimated length of contract is for 6-12 months with potential to extend
Location: Palo Alto, CA – Candidates must be local

Our client is seeking a Business Continuity Contract Technical Writer to assist in documenting the program, process maps and metrics. The professional may also assist the Business Continuity team with BIA work along with program management.
Writes, edits and revises documentation for the Business Continuity Program Office including working with partner departments: Disaster Recovery, Emergency Management Team and Crisis Communications. Retrieves, organizes, analyzes and synthesizes intermediate subject matter and transforms it into easy-to-understand information. Create help documentation, manage templates and assist Business Continuity team as needed to refine current documentation. Demonstrates self-initiative, seeks assistance as needed. Follows standard practices and uses judgment within defined practices and procedures. Implements work plans and schedules as assigned. Uses software tools appropriately with technical guidance and completes tasks and assignments with general direction.
