Position title: Crisis & Continuity Management Advisor
Location: Upper Merion, Pennsylvania (Local candidates preferred. No relocation provided)
Salary: $50,500 – 65,000 base + bonus potential
Status: Full Time/Permanent
Travel: Position will require some travel and extensive virtual team work to perform key duties.
Provide support to business areas to prepare comprehensive crisis management and business continuity plans.
Assist with crisis and continuity plan exercises.
Review crisis and continuity plans for quality and assist with plan improvements.
Maintain planning data, plan status and reports in LDRPS to support GSK’s Crisis & Continuity Management programs.
Perform system administrative duties and provide direct customer support for all crisis and continuity planning software.
Assist with plan activations as required.
Bachelor's degree required.
1-3 years of proven recent business continuity planning experience.
Demonstrated interpersonal skills and communications skills to work with internal and external contacts. Must be able to establish effective working relationships with peers and the ability to communicate with multiple levels of management.
Must demonstrate on a consistent basis a transparent and open communication style and collaborative working.
At least 1 year of performing administrative duties using the Sungard Living Disaster Recovery Planning System (LDRPS).
Must demonstrate good knowledge of standard business software and ability to learn new applications.
Able to demonstrate good planning, organizational, problem-solving and negotiating skills.
