Position: Business Resilience Strategy Consultant
Status: Full-time, Permanent
Location: USA - Candidates may be based in any metropolitan location within the USA.
Salary: Based on Experience
Candidates must currently have the proper documentation to work in the USA.
Extensive Traveling: Up to 80%; traveling 5 days a week, home on weekends
**Must have previous experience program management 3rd party consulting (billable within a large consulting organization such as HP, CSC, EMC, Big 5, etc) in the design of high-availability solutions within Intel, mainframe, and Open system environments. Must have a minimim of 3+ years desiging business resilient/ high availability strategies for 3rd party clients within a Mainframe, Intel and Open system environments.
Primary Purpose:
The Business Resilience Strategy Consultant is responsible for helping clients evaluate/implement technical business resilience strategies and solutions to enhance the availability and resiliency of a client's systems, infrastructure and business and drive follow on business.
Will work w/other business resilience practitioners & clients in all sectors/industries to translate customer business requirements into business resilience solutions. Required to relate effectively with C-Level Management and provide clients with a high level, management-oriented view of how and where changes can be made to improve the client's resilience and availability posture. The ability to integrate business and technology using regulatory and compliance to drive solutions and mitigate risk is required. Expected to provide engagement leadership on complex projects across the layers of Business Resilience (ie strategy & vision, organization, processes, applications & data, technology & facilities) with a focus on Intel, Open Systems and Mainframe technology.
Engagement responsibility will cover multiple Business Resilience Service Areas (ie risk management, business continuity, availability, recoverability & security). Exceptional written and oral communication skills a must.
Required Skills:
" At least 2 years experience in leading complex projects to develop client business resilience strategies, technology and solution development
" At least 2 years experience in Mainframe, Intel and Open Systems
" At least 3 years experience in High Availability experience
" At least 3 years experience in Complex engagement leadership experience
" Readiness to travel up to 75%; traveling 5 days a week, home on weekends
" English: Fluent
Preferred Skills:
" Bachelor's Degree
